Why No Readers?
November 24, 2007 | Filed Under Site News | Leave a Comment
You may have noticed that I currently have no subscribers to my feed, as supplied to Feedburner. Well, let me tell you - it wasn’t so long ago that I reached the giddy heights of having 13 regular readers! Unfortunately (for my self esteem anyway) I had to move my blog, because of the aforementioned and as yet ongoing but soon to be resolved server issues. Throw in a few complications and niggles (such as the theme producing dirty RSS) and I managed to nuke my old Feedburner feed. Whoops! So, if you were one of those 13 and you somehow managed to make it back here I can only say: Sorry!
Exclusive - Day 732

Day 732 of my Nokia 6630 review. Today I accessed one of the most amazing, ground breaking, earth shaking, world rocking, foundation bowing, breath taking, soul shaking, shoulder quaking features of my phone: I made….yes….a PHONE CALL! As I did this I looked across at my old Canon 300D with it’s Tamron 28-70mm lens and thought "it is so over for you my old friend." How could I
ever go back to my camera, if it can’t make phone calls? A sad sad day, I know. Check back soon for more exclusive features as and when I uncover them.

…when you put the ball on net.
An old hockey adage that certainly applies to tonight’s football game. I hope England lose so that we can actually enjoy the tournament next year! Beautiful pass by Eduardo - more of that for Arsenal please Mr da Silva.
Second half prediction? There will be fight. There will be passion. There WILL be long balls.

Mac’s OS X - “It just works” or “it works, just?” Find out here this week. Also, I review a modern tele-communication device! I examine Feedburner to investigate just exactly why I have no subscribers plus I’ll give you my thoughts on 3 new(ish) albums.
Aquitania /blog

In recent weeks you may have been experiencing numerous errors “establishing connection to database.” There were (are!) some server issues that I had (have! Come on you boys at Entanet, do some work for once) no control over, causing a number of timeout problems with the wordpress database.
I decided to shift the blog away from the front page and give it it’s own directory. I don’t know, maybe I’m just jealous of John C Dvorak. This also gave me an oppurtunity to update my Wordpress installation to the latest version and also iron out a few old niggles, mainly to do with the permalinks and .htaccess files.
So here we are! aquitania.co.uk/blog. As you can see, I only have the default theme at the moment. This should be updated by the end of the week.
What can you expect to find at the new aquitania.co.uk/blog? The same as usual really - notifications of photo updates (now hosted on Flickr) and other things I wish to rant on or mention.
